Overview



        

      With the current freshmen design, we plan to save energy by utilizing the abundant solar energy using solar panels arranged in an angle which increases its capacity simultaneously travelling around the building where it is installed. Our ultimate motivation for this project was the usage of abundant resource available to us leading to the goal of greener, cleaner environment. Using basic solar panels and mechanics, we will be attaching the solar panels to the outside of buildings. These panels will follow the movement of the sun using the average data recorded for 10 years of earth's rotation on its axis. Technical difficulties faced during this would be finding a balance between architectural designs which reduces the travelling energy of panels and the angles at which the panels should be placed. Other factors involve wind speed, assimilation of dust on the surface of solar panel.
